As a small dog owner and lover... I understand the importance of knowing that my rather spoilt bouchée pooch is going to have a little luxury whilst away from home. Hence, I created The Hound House, a doggy day care designed specifically for your small much loved fur baby. Created to accommodate a smaller number of dogs, my aim is to provide an exclusive dog day care and grooming salon for the discerning dog owner. Let’s face it, we all love somewhere nice to hang with our friends so why shouldn't your pet have the same.

I like to start all new dogs with a short trial to check their temperament, behavioural characteristics, play style & toileting habits. This also allows them to have a good sniff in our outside area and become familiar with the space whilst getting to know the other pack members. This also gives me an opportunity to play with your dog and see how they will interact in a controlled group environment.
Trials are run 3 days a week - Monday, Tuesdays & Fridays for 2 hours
Please ensure you bring the following to your first visit:

Current Vaccination details
PLEASE NOTE: Dogs will be accepted for ongoing daycare based on this initial trial and given a ratings on the following: Temperament, Social skills, Manners and toileting.
Grooming Services
We provide exceptional dog grooming services to keep your pampered pooch healthy, happy, and looking fabulous. Mark Hugo is an experienced Melbourne dog groomer based at The House House. His skills and experience of working one on one with dogs of all types, ensures your animal has individual specialised care. Mark never rushes his dogs and takes time to ensure they are comfortable and happy. No production line grooming here…just gentle care.
Daycare Day Spa - Small dogs can enjoy a day of play with their friends and get picked up squeaky clean and smelling great. Please check availability through the groomer at Mugo.com.au or click the below form and we will give you a call if you want to combine daycare and grooming on the same day.

Half day (up to 4hrs) $45.00
Full day (over 4 hrs) $60.00
